Pictura is made up of two innovative companies that work closely together: Pictura Imaginis and Pictura Database Publishing. They have a common goal: helping the heritage sector (archives, museums, libraries, etc.) to unlock its collections in a professional way. With two constants: high quality and a reasonable price.

Pictura Imaginis means 'picture of a picture'. That is exactly what we are about: digitizing (image) archives. Transferring originals to digital images using unique equipment, a great deal of experience and strict quality control.

For the future
Storage, space and the aging process often cause problems for archivists. To digitize archives is to ensure collections for the future and, if so desired, to enhance their accessibility by making use of a database. Pictura has the skills, knowledge and equipment to digitally repair old or damaged collections and even to print them on original paper.
