On the 23rd of May 2008 the renewed image bank of North Holland went online. In cooperation with Pictura Database Publishing a period of hard work was spent on this completely new website. Not just the design was changed, but the techniques it uses are also implemented according to the latest standards.

The beeldbank Noord Holland is an initiative by several foundations that manage beautiful historical image material of North Holland.

The image bank came about with a grant from the province North Holland. The portal is managed by Cultureel Erfgoed Noord-Holland and by the consultant historical information and is an initiative by several archives and historical foundations from North Holland.

In the coming time the final images will be added to the image bank, but you can already visit and use the new site!
