Why is the sparrow disappearing? And is that a great or a blue tit? Johan Bos answers these and other questions in the recently published ‘Vogels voor elke dag’ (Every Day Birds), guide for the starting bird spotter, with clear explanations about indigenous species, bird migration, handy spotting tips and, last but not least, filled with beautiful aquarelles by illustrator Frits-Jan Maas.

Pictura scanned the aquarelles in high quality, made color corrections where necessary and delivered sharp, true color scans. The scans were to be published in books, such as Bos’ new bird guide, or for use on Staatsbosbeheer's information panels in nature preserves.
