Starting today, the 4th of October, all the ‘Stolp’ farmhouses in North Holland can be viewed in the image bank of the Boerderijenstichting.

Closely cooperating with Mart Groentjes of the Boerderijenstichting, Pictura developed an image bank for a beautiful overview of over 4000 pictures of ‘Stolp’ farmhouses in North Holland. With the help of a number of enthusiastic volunteers all pictures have been given a description using Pictura’s Memorix Image.

There are a number of ways to search through the database, like searching for keywords, places, characteristics such as ‘thatched roof’ or ‘roofing tiles’ or year of construction. The result of your search query is a list of farms. There is a front and aft view of each farmhouse and you can zoom in on the photograph and view the farm’s details. You can also print the photographs, download them or add your comments.
