| The unique sixteenth century stained glass windows of the St. Janskerk (Saint John’s Church) in Gouda can now be enjoyed in a totally different way. All the window sketches have been digitized by Pictura from the 30 by 40 centimeter (11.9 x 15.7 inch) glass negatives. These were then scanned. Photographer Henk Platenburg of the Netherlands Institute for Art History made compositions of the scans which give incredible detail. The result was published as a book. |
