Pictura Presents All Frisians

On the 20th of March Pictura presented the plans for AlleFriezen.nl. Here is a short schedule with the day’s events, images of the website design and the brochure.

1. Company Introduction

Onno Zaman started off with a short introduction of Pictura. He told about the acquired experience the company has with digitizing archives and publishing genealogical data. More information about Pictura is readily available elsewhere on this website.

2. What Will We Be Supplying?

Digitizing and publishing the public civil registers of your municipalities.
Making a back-up on DVD of all the digital images in jpeg 1:10 format.
A one-time import of your indexes that are stored at Tresoar.
Storage and server capacity for the hosting of digital images, the indexes and the website for consulting your civil registers.
A search system for visitors of your website that wish to consult your civil registers.
Possibility of export to Genlias.
Free participation in the website portal AlleFriezen.nl.
Optional: A secure management environment with which municipal archive employees can manage and consult the indexes of the non-public civil registers.
