Pictura developed De Vitrine at the request of the National Archive.

De Vitrine (The Show Case) makes it easy to create a virtual exposition about a specific topic with images from an image bank and their context. The included images can be linked together with an index and described. You can find an example of the Vitrine on the website of the Nationaal Archief.

"You don’t expect one of the greatest post-war politicians, Willem Drees, to have written love-letters. Or Sinterklaas poems. Yet here they are. These personal documents (there are hundreds of them) were transferred to the Nationaal Archief this afternoon.
