Most of the 30.000 photographic slides, photos and prints on the Archief Eemland website, from 1860 to the present, have been scanned by Pictura. The online photo catalog is very useful. It is possible to search using an index or to simply browse through the archive. Images can be ordered in 300 dpi by using an online order form.

A historical encyclopedia has descriptions of about 3000 people, buildings, streets and events. Through the connected school system GalleryMaker (click on ‘Website bouwen op school’) anyone can practice building their own website.

Both hosting and database management are done online. Archief Eemland rents a server from Pictura, one of the options for Memorix.
