The Regionaal Archief Tilburg has a Pictura website with the first complete web photo shop for buying high quality prints.

Almost 12.000 of the planned 80.000 fotos and prints from the area of Tilburg can be searched for and viewed at a fair size. There is also the possibility to add your comments to the illustration.

The Regionaal Archief Tilburg has the very first archive with only a web server and no local server. The great advantage is that this enables the site to always stay online, despite local conditions.

The plans for this site’s future are varied and promising: the entire library package shall be placed online and made searchable. Books, audiovisual material and the archive index shall become available on your computer.
