Our digitization experience is substantial. Ranging from seventeenth century VOC maps to postcards, from fragile glass negatives by Bernard Eilers to a meters high Schuttersstuk from the Westfries Museum, all immortalized by Pictura.

A lot of the materials we work with are unique and fragile. It is paramount that nothing happens to them. Pictura Imaginis has therefore designed its production process around the originals. We hold quality in high regard and we will do everything in our power to ensure that quality.

ISO 9001:2000 certified
We have spent a lot of attention on our team, processes and means, all to fulfill our quality targets:

Pictura is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company. All company processes are recorded in a quality manifest and we work solely according to these transparently recorded processes.

ICN certified
All our employees are familiar with and act according to the company guidelines as provided by the Pictura administration and have signed a contract to that effect. Our chauffeur has an ICN certificate and is trained to handle art.

BORG certified
Pictura possesses the means to make careful transportation possible. We have transport containers that are closed before they are loaded into our van and remain closed until they are offloaded. The pieces that we transport from and to our clients are stored in specially designed transport containers, crates, etc. While in our care, the pieces are stored in conditioned BORG certified storerooms.

Insurance
We ensure original pieces according to the highest standards. During transportation and storage of your collection in our storerooms, the original pieces are insured with an all-risk museum insurance policy up to an amount of € 1,200,000.-. Our logistics manager will ensure that the originals can be localized at all times.

Verification
After they have been scanned, the originals are places next to the scans to verify both image quality and naming. We do this to ensure that every image is scanned according to our quality standards and that the digital image has a name that links it unequivocally to the original.
