On the 13th and 14th of September 2007, the Flemish association for the Library, Archive and Documentation Systems (VVBAD) held her biennial congress, the Informatie 2007. The VVBAD wants to assist libraries, archives and documentation centers to develop their services in a professional way by presenting the newest technological developments to them.

Pictura gave two presentations in which it presented its latest innovative solutions. Quite a few people came to hear about Thursday's topic, how to digitize newspapers and make them searchable. On Friday everyone listened to a presentation explaining how to make film accessible online.

We look back on these two days with satisfaction and we thank the VVBAD for its invitation.
