Pictura has a dedicated team of employees with expertise in many diverse areas. All of them share one characteristic: interest in and commitment to heritage.

Pictura employs a large number of photographers and image specialists. They have many years' experience within the image sector and know how to handle fragile materials. All our photographers have been educated at the Reinwardt Academy, the only museological education in the Netherlands and Western Europe. This means that they are pre-eminently qualified to handle museum artefacts.

In addition, Pictura has a team of top programmers. Under the leadership of the Technical Director, they develop the software: the Memorix system with which the digital (image) archives are managed, the websites with which they are presented, and special innovative applications to open up special collections. New developments within the IT field are always followed closely.

Finally, in order to supervise how the content is treated in our projects, we also employ historians, and document and information specialists. They know what is important to archives, libraries and museums, think actively with each customer and build bridges between their wishes regarding substance and the technical implementation.
