Pictura is ISO 9001:2008 certified
ISO 9001:2008 is an internationally-recognised quality mark and thus has the same content and meaning across the world. ISO 9001:2008 describes the processes and procedures that take place within a company, helping to perfect the operational management.
Issues on which ISO 9001:2008 focuses are: A good and workable policy plan with clear objectives; Quality control (the company asks itself, for example: "do I deliver a good product to the customer?"); Qualified personnel; Internal communication (how communication takes place within the company); Description of all processes within the company; On-going control (through continued control, points for improvement become clear).
ISO 9001 can also be translated as: say what you do; do what you say; prove it.
Quality guidelines Delivering quality products is one issue; building-in quality in all procedures is another. The first is a snapshot, the second leads to a stable situation in which quality is guaranteed as long as the procedure is followed. The ISO 9001:2008 standard requires that our service delivery and our products meet all legal requirements and the wishes of the customer. In practice this results in quality guidelines, in which the quality policy and the procedures are elaborated.
Annual inspection As organisation, we can say that we manage our company processes and can demonstrate this. We are inspected on this annually through an external audit (conducted by an external authorised party). We also conduct our own audits throughout the year so that we are always up-to-date. We can be proud of the fact that Pictura already obtained the ISO certificate in 2007. Continual improvements to our processes led to successful certification in October 2009 according to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. You can download our certificate.
