Digitization

Digitizing isn't done for fun, but by design. The original is valuable for any number of reasons, and therefore irreplaceable. Even if the goal is conservation, you do not want to expose the original to harmful influences unnecessarily. But the goal can also be substitution. This is where the original will not be spared because it will eventually destroy itself anyway.

The path of digitizing, from A to Z

At Pictura we work according to a clear and clarifying process. At any given moment you will be able to check out in which stadium your project is. The trail starts with the delivery of your materials after which the digitizing can start. After a checkup we name and categorize the digital originals. From this point on, the management will start. The digital files are being archived in our Memorix-database application. In the last phase of the project you can choose between several options of delivery and publication.

Our passion for your materials

At Pictura we treat your materials like our own and we always work while following the highest quality standards. For every imaginable kind of material we provide a solution; big or small, thick or thin, old or new, high or low resolution, nothing will surprise us.
